Ducati Nitrous 900

My 1996 Ducati 900SS/CR, fitted with NOS system. The goal of the project was set up a 8oz. Nitrous system to work with the Ducati 2 value motor, using a DRY delivery system inside the air box (running the carb's rich). The system used a manual trigger button, which was the original 12 volt horn button on the bike (the horn was removed).

I intented of switching to a direct port injection system later, adding a NOS Progressive Nitrous Controller, purge value and a wet delivery system. The goal was to set up the controller to feed all 8oz. slowly so not to over heating the air-cooled motor and eleiminate the wheel spin.

I benched the project to focus on the TurboMonster project. The NOS "Sneeky Pete Kit" was very informative and effective. I spent less then $400 and had a lot of fun and leaned a lot for my next project. I never made it to the point to go get a Dyno Test done, but I did do several 1/4 mile runs and the local race track (FireBird's Friday Night Street Drag's). I went from doing high 15's to mid 11's.
